The patterns that appear in roof-end tiles from the Hanseong Baekje Period (BC 18~AD 475) excavated from Pungnaptoseong Fortress in Seoul.

Pungnaptoseong Fortress is the royal palace located along the Han River in southern Seoul, which Baekje called Hanseong.

It had been known that roof tiles were not used during the Hanseong Baekje Period, but huge amounts of tiles poured out of it.
