노르웨이발 화이자 백신접종 관련 사망자는 주목을 요한다. 들리는 바 화이자 백신은 접종 후에 상당한 후유증이 있단다. 특히 2차 접종 이후 상당히 심하게 앓는 증세가 있단다.
노르웨이가 접종한 사람들은 80 이상 고령들이라 저 희생자 중에서는 꼭 백신 후유증이라고만 보기 힘든 측면도 있기는 하겠지만, 그걸 견디지 못한 사람도 분명 있을 것이다. 나아가 또 고려할 점은 백신을 맞았는데 몸에서 아무 반응이 없다면 그게 더 문제이긴 하다.

이를 보면 더 확연하다. 100명당 하루접종자수가 이스라엘이 확실히 꺾였다. 이 친구들이 화이자 때려붓고는 이제 모더나백신으로 간다 했는데 그거 투입하면 속도가 다시 오를 것으로 본다.

미국은 이제 하루 접종 80만으로 갔다. 목표치 100만에 20만 남았다.

이것이 지금 이스라엘 백신 효과에 대한 잠정 리포트다. 중요 대목을 뽑아본다.
Israel’s largest health-care provider, Clalit Health Services, compared test positivity rates among 200,000 people over 60 who received the vaccine with 200,000 that didn’t. Until day 14, there was little difference between the two groups. But after that, the data showed a 33% fall in infection rates among those who had already been vaccinated compared with those who hadn’t. Clalit noted that the number of people infected was statistically significant, but said it wouldn’t release final numbers...
백신 투여군과 비투여군 사이에서 간취하는 신규발생자를 비교한 결과 투여군에서 33프로 낮았다는 뜻이다. 투여군에서도 계속 발생자가 나오는 이유는 접종 전에 이미 걸려버린 사람들이 있을 수도 있고, 나아가 첫 번째 접종으로는 90프로 이상의 방어력을 갖지 못하기 때문에 2번째 접종 후에 접종군에서는 완전히 차단될 것으로 보아야겠다.
일단 1차 접종만으로도 상당히 방어력이 생겼다는 건 좋은 징후다. 1차 접종 후 14일 후에 본 수치라는데 아주 초보적 데이터라는 점은 염두에 둬야 한다.
