내년 미국 생물인류학회가 필라델피아에서 3월 31일 개막해 4월 3일까지 열린다. 

인류학에 관한 한 가장 권위있는 학회이다.

미국생물인류학회American Association of Biological Anthropologists (AABA)는 미국에 본부를 둔 국제 단체로, 생물인류학자들 전문 학회임을 자처한다.

Wiley Publishing에서 발행하는 두 개 동료 심사 과학 저널인 American Journal of Biological Anthropology와 Yearbook of Biological Anthropology를 후원한다. 
 

 
이전에는 미국체질인류학회American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA)라고 했지만, 2018년에서 2020년 사이에 회원 투표를 거쳐 학문의 현대 생물학적 틀을 반영하여 명칭으로 변경했다.

이 학회는 1928년 12월 미국과학진흥협회American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) H분과(인류학Anthropology) 뉴욕 회의에서 체코계 미국인 인류학자 알레시 흐르들리츠카Aleš Hrdlička 제안으로 처음 결성되었다.

창립 멤버는 스무명 정도였다 하는데, 주로 인류학자와 해부학도들이었다. 

현 학회장은 앤 스톤Anne C. Stone이라는 여성 인류학도다.
