A military general from a 1,600-year-old Korean kingdom emerges

Archaeologists have unearthed a 1,600-year-old tomb in Gyeongju, a city in southeastern Korea that was the capital of the millennium-long kingdom of Silla.

The excavation revealed that the tomb contained a young Silla general.

The rich grave goods included horse armor, shin guards, and various weaponry.
