Journal of Archaeological Science에 나간 논문들

 
앞서 이원준 박사와 함께 나간 논문을 서칭한다고 하다가 

Journal of Archaeological Science에 실린 필자 연구실 논문을 확인해 본 바, 

그간 총 6편이 나간 사실을 새삼 확인했다. 

2009년에 최초의 논문이 나갔고, 

마지막 논문이 2014년이다. 

내가 이 잡지에 이렇게 많이 냈나 싶다. 

Journal of Archaeological Science는 

고고과학계에서는 그래도 flagship journal이라 할 수 있다. 

Science Nature 같은 명성의 잡지는 아니라 해도 

각 분야에서 기본적으로 먹고 들어가는 학술지들이 있는데

JAS가 바로 그런 잡지다. 

필자가 한참 투고하던 당시만 해도 JAS 하나만 있었는데 

그 중 짧은 케이스 보고는 학술지가 독립하여 

Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports라는 
자매지가 따로 생겼다.

이 잡지에도 필자 기억으로 서너 편 출판이 되었던 것으로 기억한다. 

JAS에 논문이 나가던 저 시절이
필자가 가장 바쁘게 뛰어다닌 무렵이었다. 

도통 겁이 없을 때이기도 하고. 

저 시절이 필자가 40대 때이니 

연구자는 40대 때 평생의 포텐셜이 거의 결정된다 할 것이다.
