아르메니아 예레반을 건설한 우라르투 왕의 포고문

 

아르메니아 수도 예레반Yerevan(옛 이름 에레부니 Erebuni )의 "출생 증명서Birth certificate"는 우라르투Urartu 왕이 기원전 782년 도시 건국 당시 현무암 석판 basalt stone slab 에 남긴 에레부니 요새 Erebuni Fortress 의 설형 문자 비문 cuneiform inscription 이다.

지금은 예레반Yerevan 소재 에레부니박물관 Erebuni Museum 이 소장 중이다.

비문 전문 번역은 다음과 같다.

By order of God Khaldi, Argishti, the son of Menua says, "I built this inaccessible fortress and named it Erebuni for the power of Biaina country and to the horror of enemy countries. The land was deserted, there was nothing built. I did powerful feats here, and 6600 soldiers were resettled from Khale and Tsupane countries here by me."


칼디Khaldi 신의 명에 따라, 메누아Menua의 아들인 나 아리기시티Argishti는 말하노라. 나는 접근하기 어려운 이 요새를 건설하고 비아이나Biaina 국가의 힘과 적국의 공포를 위해 에레부니Erebuni라고 명명하노라. 땅은 황폐했고 아무것도 건설되지 않았노라. 나는 그렇게 했노라. 여기에 강력한 업적을 세웠고, 나에 의해 칼레 Khale 와 추파네Tsupane 같은 나라에서 온 군인 6천600명이 이곳에 정착하노라.
