Bunch of Buddhist ritual tools from Goryeo Dynasty in Gyeongju, capital of mill

 
Archaeologists have found a large number of Buddhist ritual tools believed to have been produced during the Goryeo Dynasty near a Buddhist temple in Gyeongju, the capital of Silla, the millennium kingdom. 

An excavation of a Buddhist temple called Heungryunsa Temple in Sajeong-dong, Gyeongju, found iron pots inside a Goryeo-era building site, and 54 bronze offerings were excavated from it, the Cultural Heritage Administration said on the 5th.

This iron pot, about 65cm in diameter and 62cm in height, appeared buried in the ground. The relics found in it include bronze incense burners, bronze candlesticks, and bronze Vajras.  
 

 
There are more relics attached to the bottom of this iron pot, so there is a possibility that the number of relics will increase in the process of preservation in the future. 
The relics were discovered last month during excavation and investigation of the planned site for the construction of a sewer pipe. 

Researchers estimate that these pot and artifacts were collected in one place in a hurry to prepare for emergencies such as fires and buried on the ground.
 

However, rather, these tools should be considered as intentionally buried in the ground according to some kind of ritual after they have been used.
