Peonies after flowers fall

All living things reproduce in the spring. Except for humans only.

Flowers mean reproduction to plants. Reproduction is the death of the old generation.

Descendants grow in the place where death blossoms.

So flowers are both death and birth.

The splendid peonies are no exception to this.

So all flowers fall when they are most splendid.
