Above the rolling waves is a fish[🐠물고기:mulgogi] painted in iron oxide.

The expression of varying tones with the pigment is exquisite.

The top and sides of the vessel are decorated with floral designs.

This type of vessel, referred to as a janggun, is a rice-bale-shaped cylindrical vessel with an attached mouth used for holding liquids.

Production of this vessel type ceased during the Goryeo Dynasty but was revived in the Joseon era.
