중국 안휘성에서 호모 에렉투스 이빨 발굴

 
최근, 2025년 안휘성 화현 원인 유지和县猿人遗址의 선제적 고고학 발굴을 위한 전문가 검토 회의가 화현 박물관和县博物馆에서 개최되어 2025년 발굴 결과가 발표되었다.

이 유적에서 두 개체 새로운 호모 에렉투스直立人 이빨 화석이 발굴되었고, 호모 에렉투스가 만든 석기 유물이 처음으로 발견 및 확인되어 유적의 문화적 중요성을 더욱 높였다.

호모 에렉투스의 생산, 사용 및 수리 흔적이 있는 다수의 뼈, 뿔, 이빨 유물이 발굴되었으며, 정교하게 제작된 뼈 도구가 발견되어 호모 에렉투스의 행동 능력에 대한 국제 학계의 이해를 새롭게 정의할 가능성이 있다.
 

또한, 수천 점 동물 이빨 화석과 수만 점 동물 뼈 조각도 발굴되었다. 

이번 발굴은 유적의 원래 지층 구조가 완전히 드러나 전시된 최초의 사례다.

꽃가루 분석 및 동물 치아 동위원소 검사와 같은 포괄적인 연구 방법을 적용하면 "화현인和县人" 시대 고환경과 고기후를 재구성하고 복원하는 데 탄탄한 과학적 근거가 마련될 것이다.

중대한 발굴이 있는 것만은 사실인데 자세한 소식은 좀 기다려 봐야 할 듯 싶다. 
 
近日，和县猿人遗址2025年主动性考古发掘专家论证会在和县博物馆举行，会上公布了2025年度发掘成果。遗址新出土2枚直立人牙齿化石；首次发现并确认直立人制作的石制品，丰富了遗址的文化内涵；发掘出土大量保留直立人制作、使用和修理痕迹的骨、角、牙制品，其中精美加工骨器的发现，有望刷新国际学术界对直立人行为能力的既有认知；同时还出土数千件动物牙齿化石及数万件动物碎骨化石。本次发掘首次完整揭露并展示了遗址原生地层堆积剖面，孢粉分析、动物牙齿同位素测试等综合研究手段的应用，将为重建与复原“和县人”生存时期的古环境、古气候提供坚实的科学依据。

Recently, an expert review meeting for the 2025 proactive archaeological excavation of the Hexian Ape-Man Site was held at the Hexian Museum, where the excavation results for 2025 were announced. Two new Homo erectus teeth fossils were unearthed at the site; stone artifacts made by Homo erectus were discovered and confirmed for the first time, enriching the site's cultural significance; a large number of bone, horn, and tooth artifacts bearing traces of Homo erectus production, use, and repair were excavated, with the discovery of exquisitely crafted bone tools potentially redefining the international academic community's understanding of Homo erectus's behavioral capabilities; in addition, thousands of animal teeth fossils and tens of thousands of animal bone fragments were also unearthed. This excavation marks the first time that the original stratigraphic profile of the site has been fully revealed and displayed. The application of comprehensive research methods, such as pollen analysis and animal tooth isotope testing, will provide a solid scientific basis for reconstructing and restoring the paleoenvironment and paleoclimate of the "Hexian Man" period.
