반응형 NEWS & THESIS/Photo News388 매발톱? 닭발? 할매 벙거지? 이 친구가 외래종인가 아닌가는 모르겠는데 오월 무렵엔 흔히 보는 꽃 중 하나니 이름이 매발톱꽃 이라 하는데 어디를 두고 매발톱이라 하는지 궁금하기 짝이 없다. 이걸 보면 매발톱 같이 생긴 것도 같고 그럴 거 같으면 더 친숙한 닭발이 낫지 않겠는가? 새발톱이 매가 다르고 닭이 다르고 비둘기가 크게 다를 건 없다. 다 거기서 거기라 피장파장 똥끼나 밑끼나다. 매가 귀하다 할 순 없겠지만 일상에서 자주 보기는 힘든 맹금류다. 어릴 적 가끔 낙오한 놈 잡아다가 개구락지 잡아먹여주고 키워주고 해서 날려보낸 기억이 있다만 괴기 구경 못한 그 시절에도 매는 백숙한 적이 없다. 이 친구 내력이 궁금한 김에 뒤져봤더니 학명이 Aquilegia, 아퀼레기아? 정도로 읽으면 되지 않을까 싶은데 이런 학명이야 라틴어를 기반으.. 2023. 5. 9.
