공평동유적 마루 흔적

 

 

16th century Joseon period Maru traces found at Gongpyeong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul

 

Made of wooden planks, maru is a board with a floor spaced apart from ground in the house. Maru are installed higher than the ground, allowing ventilation under the floor, removing moisture that penetrates into the house, and keeps the room temperature properly.

 

ソウル鐘路區公平洞遺跡16世紀床跡

 

지금은 현장 전시관으로 단장 개장한 서울 종로 공평동유적에선 보다시피 발굴 당시 16세기 무렵 조선시대 마루가 폭삭 주저앉은 상태로 발굴되었다.

이처럼 온전한 조선시대 사대문 안 마루가 발견되기는 처음이 아니었나 한다.

이 마루가 지금도 현장에선 보존처리되어 전시 중인 모습을 본 듯 하다.

사진은 2015년 1월 무렵 촬영이라 기억한다.
