Located on the middle of Mt. Ungilsan (운길산), Sujongsa Temple has a commending view over Dumulmeori (두물머리), which literally means 'two water area,' and refers to the place where the Bukhangang River and Namhangang River meet. The two rivers combine here to form the Han River.
Blocked by Paldang dam (팔당댐), the river is forming a huge lake around Dumulmeori.
