The official name of this museum given by the Chinese government is the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King ( 西汉南越王博物馆 서한남월왕묘박물관 ), literally 'Western Han Nanyue King Museum'. But I can not follow it. The Nanyue 南越 남월 Kingdom is quite different from the Western Han dynasty.

Located at Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, China the museum houses the 2,000-year-old tomb of the Nanyue King Zhao Mo 남월국왕 조매.

The museum consists of two sections. One is the royal tomb site where the museum was born, and the other is an indoor museum centered on artifacts excavated there.

The previous photo shows the actual royal tomb site.

The grandson and successor of Zhao Tuo 趙佗 조타, and the second ruler of Nanyue南越, Zhao Mo 趙眜 조매 ruled from 137 BC to 122 BC, and his tomb was discovered in downtown Guangzhou in 1983. The museum, which opened in 1988, showcases the tomb and its complete trove of artifacts.

His grave is admitted, and therefore we meets the vivid appearance of the real grave.
