수메르시대 어린아이 출생증명은 발바닥으로

 

American Institute of the Humanities 라는 데서 소개하는 유물인데 설명은 아래와 같다. 


"Sumerian Birth Certificate"

Clay tablet from 2000-1595 BCE, contains birth of a child, its gender, name of his parents and also a footprint of child.

Found in Sumerian city of Nippur in southern Iraq. 

 
고대 수메르시대 출생증명서가 저렇다고 

대략 기원전 2천년~1595년 무렵 사이에 나온 점토판으로

어떤 아이 출생과 그 성별, 부모 이름에다가 무엇보다 해당 아이 족적을 표시했다고 

남부 이라크 수메르 도시 니푸르 Nippur [아마 더 정확한 발음은 닛푸르일 듯]에서 발견됐다고.

현재 소장처는 표시가 없다.
