April 2026 issue of AJA

The April 2026 issue of the AJA is now available online at https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/aja! In this issue, readers will find:  
-an analysis of the Bronze Age Melathron of Gla, demonstrating that a designing grid based on specific measurements and their replication was used in the building’s construction; 
-an exploration of three forms of post-depositional interactions with burials in Central Apulian necropoleis between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE; 
-a discussion of the Pantheon in Rome and its architectural context, including a proposed reconstruction of the sculptural program of the pediment; 
-and a study of Antioch’s Roman necropoleis through the lens of the archival materials related to the excavations in the 1930s. 
Open access content includes:  
-a study of the patterns of distribution and deposition of red-figure and black-gloss pottery in eastern Andalucía, and 
-a review of the archaeological exhibits displayed in the Thessaloniki Metro stations in Greece.
