Tomb of King Jima | 祗摩王陵 | 지마왕릉

이 능은 신라 제6대 지마왕( 재위 112~134)을 모신 곳으로 남산 서쪽 아래에 있다. 

능은 밑 둘레 38미터, 높이 3.4미터로 흙을 둥글게 쌓아 올린 형태이며 별다른 특징은 없다.

지마왕은 파사왕婆婆王의 아들로 태어나 23년간 재위하면서 가야, 왜구, 말갈의 침입을 막아 국방을 튼튼히 했다.

This is the tomb of King Jimar. 112-134 AD, the sixth king of the Silla Kingdom. It is located at the foot of the western part of Mt. Namsan. 

The round earthen mound measures 38m in circumference and 3.4m in height.

King Jima was son of King Pasa. During his 23-year-long reign, he defended his kingdom against attacks by Gaya, Japanese pirates, and the Malgal tribe.
