Back in 2008, archaeologists disvovered 1,500 year old storage jars at Mirae-maeul Village district inside Pungnaptoseong Fortress.

Located in the south of Seoul, the fortress is believed to have been the royal palace of the Baekje kingdom while the kingdom had its capital at Hanseong (present-day Seoul). In AD 475 Baekje had to move the capital to present-day Gongju in AD 475, as the capital was broken down by Goguryeo.

Those three jars were found inside a pit from the Hanseong Baekje period. The pit with a rectangular planar shape is thought to be a warehouse site. A celadon bowl made in China around the mid-5th century was excavated from one of the jars.

나중에 내부 조사에서 저 한 대옹에서 5세기 중후반 무렵 중국에서 만든 청자사발 한 점이 나왔다.
