Actual Innisfree at Sligo, Ireland

여성 화장품 상표 뿌리가 된 진짜의 이니스프리다.
우리네 밤섬 같은 데랄까 그런 곳이다.

아일랜드 슬라이고 Sligo 길 호수 Lough Gill 라는 수중 섬이다.

새벽녘부터 짙은 비가 계속 뿌렸다.

내가 왔단 표를 낸다.

이 관람 포인트에서 이곳 출신이라는 중장년 남성과 그의 따님인 듯한 여성을 조우했더니

그의 따님이 얼마전 한국으로 6개월 연수하러 떠났단다.

이곳에서 5마일 떨어진 데서 나고 자랐다는데 이니스프리는 첨이라 하거니와

이곳을 부러 찾은 한국인들 앞에 그 자신이 부끄럽다 한다.

따님으로 안 젊은 여성은 여친이란다.


The Lake Isle of Innisfree

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.
