이번 코로나바이러스 희생자 목록에 미국의 저명한 인터뷰어이자 토크쇼 진행자 출신 래리 킹 Larry King 이라는 이름도 올랐거니와, 이 소식을 전하는 저짝 주요 언론 제목들만 뽑아봤다. 

 

legend 혹은 fame 혹은 renowned 같은 수식어가 사용된 가운데 유독 The New York Times 제목이 주목을 끄는데

shot the breeze라는 말이 나오는데 to shoot the breeze 라는 말을 to spend time talking about things that are not important 라고 풀이하니, 그들을 불러다가 경쾌한 대담을 했다는 뜻이다. 간단히 말해 대통령부터 사이코, 영화배우, 악인 등등 흥밋거리가 될 만한 사람들은 누구든 불러다가 노가리를 깠단다.
