똥폼으로 장식한 문방도文房圖 병풍

문방도 2폭 병풍 [文房圖二幅屛]
19세기 후반 ~20세기 초

국립고궁박물관에 전시 중인데 보다시피 각각 2폭 병풍인데 저런 쫍다란 걸로 어딜 썼는지 모르겠다. 팔폭인데 각각 짤라냈을 가능성이 있다.


두 세트는 크기가 달라 같은 병풍 세트는 아니다.

고궁 설명은 이렇다.

궁중의 실내 공간을 장식하는 동시에 좁은 공간의 시야를 가리는 용도로 삼은 병풍이다. 쌍아올린 책들 사이로 벼루, 붓, 필통과 갈은 문방구와 골동품, 도자기, 화초, 과일 등의 다양한 소재가 등장한다.

책과 문방구류는 학문과 배음에 대한 열망, 그리고 좋은 문방구를 수집하고 감상하는 취향을 나타낸다. 불수감, 수선화 등은 부귀와 다산의 소망을 담은 것이다.

진귀한 물건들, 경사스러운 의미를 갖는 소재들을 망라하여 지적이고 문화적인 취향뿐만 아니라 세속적인 열망까지 표현했다.

이러한 그림은 책 선반(책가빠 ) 위에 각종 소재를 배치한 책가도 형식으로도 잘 알려졌지만, 19세기 후반 이후 이와 같이 책 선반을 생략한 채 여러 소재를 짜임새 있게 구성한 그림이 많이 그려졌다.

This folding screen was used to decorate the interior of the royal court and to veil a small and narrow space.

It illustrates piles of books and an array of objects typical of the genre, including inkstones, brushes, brush holders, curios, ceramics, potted plants, and fruits.

Here, the displayed books and objects are associated with scholarly pursuits and they represent an inclination for collecting and appreciating such objects. 

Also, the Buddha's hand and narcissus in the painting signify fertility and wealth. 

These curiosities and auspicious items exhibited not only the intellectual and cultural tastes of the court but cheir worldly aspirations as well.

Bookshelves that are filled with objects have been the primary motifs of this type of paintings, but since the late nineteenth century, the shelves disappeared and only the objects were illustrated in the painting. 


저런 병풍 선호했다 해서 진짜로 저걸 장식한 사람들이 책을 열심히 읽었다 생각하면 오산이다.

개똥폼이다.

꼭 공부 안하는 놈들이 서가 배경으로 셀피 남기는 심리랑 같다.
