예이츠 아일랜드 문예운동의 진원지 Abbey Theatre in Dublin

 

아일랜드 근대 문학사에서 지워질 수 없는 곳 애비극장이다.

월리엄 버틀러 예이츠가 그레고리 여사랑 함께 20세기 벽두 1904년에 설립하고 이곳을 중심으로 활동했으니 이곳 초대 극장장을 지내기도 했다.
