Stonehenge is a stone chamber of a burial mound

 
People who discuss Stonehenge today always view it as a megalithic monument.

Yes, in any case, since they built such a large structure with such large stones in the Neolithic Age, it must be considered a megalithic monument. 

However, at this point, what we need to think about is whether the people who built and operated it in that form that we see were also thinking that way. 

In other words, who erected the huge stones and built it in that form as a temple and performed various ceremonies there is a completely separate issue.
