뭐 같은가?

양놈들 영화에서 흔히 만나는 법정이다.

한데 이 법정 보다시피 지금은 카페로 쓴다.

무슨 카페?

박물관 카페다.

요롷게 생겨 먹어 판사석 배심원석 방청석 각기 커피 다야 설치해서 장사 잘 해묵는다.

로비 절반은 털어 빵집한다.
장사 잘해묵는다.

St Albans 법정인데 이를 박물관으로 개장해 이리 활용한다.

우리 같음 문화재를 카페?

언론이며 소위 문화재시민단체라는 놈들이 가만 안둘 것이다.

현장 설명은 다음과 같다.

St Albans Courtroom

This Courtroom was the centre of local justice for 130 years. It's one of the few remaining pre-Victorian courtrooms in the country. Early in the 19th century it was shared by Borough and Liberty Magistrates.

After reorganisation in 1874, it was home to the Divisional Quarter and Perry Sessions.

Thousands of men, women and children stood in the dock, some coming up from the holding cells below. In Victorian times, larceny was the most common crime (examples include stealing hens, sovereigns and turnips).

Large crowds would gather to witness Justices hand out harsh sentences including whipping, hard labour and transportation.

In 1851 the Courtroom was also the venue for a Bribery Commission Inquiry, which led to St Albans losing both its MPs for 30 years.

The 20th century brought new crimes: fraud, motoring and drug offences.

Reforms meant fewer criminals were sent to prison. Harsh sentences were replaced with fines, youth detention centres and probation.

In 1966, themagistrates moved to new law courts in the Civic Centre and the Courtroom.
