해남 일평리토성 by 이정호 해남 일평리토성으로 알려진 곳. 80년대에 가야토기 여러 점이 드러나 인근 초등학교에 보관되고 있다. 경작 때문에 지형이 많이 깎여서 토성 흔적은 찾아볼 수 없으나, 토성 아래 경사지에 네 기둥 구조 마한계 집자리가 가득하다. 비록 온전한 집자리가 없어 아쉽지만, 쇠를 다루었던 슬러지(쇳물찌꺼기), 현지산이 아닌 특이한 백색토기가 보여 눈길을 끈다. 인근에는 고인돌, 고분, 성곽이 빼곡하다. 현산, 고현이라는 지명을 남겼듯이 이곳은 조선 초기까지 해남 소재지였다. *** 이상 동신대 이정호 교수 전언인데 정확한 조사상황은 자료 입수하는 대로 정리하기로 한다. 2023. 4. 17.
