Cultural Landscape of Kenozero Lake
Located in Kenozero National Park in the north-western area of the European region of the Russian Federation, the property depicts the local cultural landscape that evolved here from the 12th century, following the gradual Slavic colonization.

It incorporates a number of traditional rural settlements with vernacular wooden architecture and reflects the communal management of agriculture and nature that developed when the indigenous Finno-Ugric forest culture merged with the traditional Slavic field culture.

Wooden churches and other religious buildings, originally decorated with painted ceilings, or “heavens”, are the key social, cultural, and visual landmarks of the area.

Their spatial organization, together with sacred sites and symbols, highlight the residents’ spiritual connection with this environment. 
 

 
케노제로호 문화경관
러시아 연방 영토 중 유럽 지역 북서쪽에 위치한 케노제로 국립공원에 위치한 이 유산은 점진적인 슬라브 식민지화Slavic colonization 이후 12세기부터 이곳에서 발전한 지역 문화 경관을 묘사한다.

이곳은 현지 목조 건축물과 함께 다수의 전통적인 농촌 정착지를 통합하고 토착 핀노-우그리아 산림 문화 Finno-Ugric forest culture가 전통적인 슬라브 현장 문화와 합쳐지면서 발전한 농업과 자연의 공동 관리를 반영한다.

목조 교회와 기타 종교 건물은 원래 천장에 그림을 그렸거나 "천국"으로 장식했으며 이 지역 주요 사회적, 문화적, 시각적 랜드마크다.

신성한 장소 및 상징과 함께 공간 구성은 이 환경과 주민의 영적 연결을 강조한다.
 
이 지역 문화경관이라, 딴 거 볼 거 없이 위성지도 하나로 충분하다. 
 

 
북유럽 대륙 산림지대다.

저 등재문에서도 산림문화를 강조하고 나선 이유일 것이다. 

호수와 어우러진 산림 농경문화 중에서도 천장 장식을 대서특필하고 싶은 모양이다. 어떻기에?
 

 
캬! 저 강렬한 색채, 확실히 유럽 대륙 성당 건축 장식과 슬라브 쪽은 다르다. 동방정교회라서 그런가?
